Hon. Pawar Saheb

Qualities such as punctuality, being available and accessible to the people, helping to solve problems, making decisions after educated and informed discussions with experts from various fields, and the cultivation of an artistic vision while working on development plans have been imbibed by Shri Ajit Pawar because of his close observation of the work done by Shri Sharadchandra Pawar. Under the guidance of Pawar Saheb, Shri Ajit Pawar continues to strive for a far-sighted developmental vision for the next 25-30 years.

Shri Ajit Pawar was born on 22nd July 1959 at
Deolali Pravara in Rahuri taluka of Ahmednagar district.

He had to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of his family at a young age, and it was at this time, he was first exposed to the social issues around him. As he understood the plight of farmers, the seeds of empathy for their cause were sown in his mind. The journey of his dynamic leadership that began and continued with different institutions such as milk unions, various cooperative societies, sugar factories, and banks took a new direction in 1991. Since then, he has graced many more positions such as MP, MLA, Minister of State for various critical government departments, and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra four times.

Whether or not he is in power, Shri Ajit Pawar is always in touch with the people through his Janata Darbars. There is no discrimination between party workers and the public. He is always insistent on increasing the speed of administrative functioning. Ajit Dada is famed for his straightforward approach and frankness, ‘yes, only if the work can be completed, otherwise no.’

The sense of responsibility that he feels towards the people he represents is seen through his words and deeds when he asks questions in the Assembly.
